The BLOCK Project — Seattle, WA (HSW)
April 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm$10
Tuesday, April 6 | 12-1 PM (CT) | Virtual via Zoom | HSW
We are excited to welcome The BLOCK Project from Seattle, WA for a presentation on their innovative solution to ending homelessness!
The BLOCK Project builds homes for those living on the streets, and they take a bold stand: “We will never end homelessness through housing alone.” They found that a new approach is needed, one that acknowledges that relationships are the building blocks for healing our communities, and that we can no longer see those who are homeless as ‘other’. Their bold new model invites all of us to step forward with our own abilities to create societal change. Their vision is to help end homelessness by building a BLOCK Home and thriving community on every residential block in Seattle. The model will be accessible nationwide and create a foundation of compassion and empathy for future generations.
Registration – $10 (All proceeds benefit the ACFA Scholarship Program and other educational initiatives such as dreamARCHITECTURE!)
