dreamARCHITECTURE
Our elementary school outreach program, dreamARCHITECTURE, is an annual art competition that encourages K-5 children to think about their built environment. Contest themes vary each year, allowing students to express their creativity through drawing their dream house, zoo, park and more. This wildly successful program sees participation from nearly 2,000 area children in Birmingham each year. In 2015, we expanded our program to serve schools in the Huntsville and Mobile areas.
Birmingham
Our 2025 dreamARCHITECTURE Birmingham Awards Ceremony was one for the books! We celebrated repeat winners, has a special bird guest appearance, and even had a giant game of tag in the courtyard. Hosted on May 1st, 2025, at Architecture Works event space SawWorks, parents, grandparents, designers, and young architects gathered to celebrate all 32 winning dream parks!
Mobile
Our 2025 dreamARCHITECTURE Mobile Awards Ceremony was a blast! Hosted on May 8th, 2025 at the architecture firm Watermark Design Group, parents, grandparents, designers, & young architects gathered to celebrate all 20 winning dream Zoo’s!
Huntsville
Our 2025 dreamARCHITECTURE Huntsville Awards Ceremony was a blast! Hosted on March 6th, 2025 for the 3rd year at the Stovehouse Event Center, parents, grandparents, designers, & young architects gathered to celebrate the 25 winning dream zoos!
